We had planned to go to Buddha Mountain
today and see a cave that has about a thousand more Buddha but we decide not to
with David’s cold. He is feeling some
better, but thought a day of rest was the best cure.
Stan and Nancy Pace came over to get their
food from our freezer that we had brought over here when their refrigerator
stopped working. First, we went to the
technology center to see about getting some ink cartridges for them and paper
for us. Stan also wants to get a new
battery for his iPod Touch. We were
unsuccessful in that pursuit. The first
place we went to was an Apple Store, and he gave Stan the address of a place
that was supposed to have the batteries, but we walked up and down the road
three or four times and still didn’t find it.
We stopped several places to ask, but each place said it was in the
direction we had just come from.
We stopped at Yon Ho for some lunch and
then came back to our place where we packed up their food and the Pace’s
left. Eva had said she would come over
and help me with getting my grades submitted to the office, but she was so late
working that she forgot and just went home.
She said we would do it tomorrow.
We digitally rented the movie, “Planes” and
tried to watch it, but the connection was so slow downloading it, that in two
hours, we had only watched about 25 minutes of it, so we went to bed and we’ll
save it for tomorrow.
