We spent the morning doing laundry,
cleaning, packing, transferring money, and getting my hair cut to get ready for
our long trip.
Alan Ding’s Dad came to pick us at
4:15. He and Alan took us to dinner and
then to an Irish Tap Dance Show, similar to River Dance. It was called Rhythm of the Dance. They had a pretty good show. I believe they are actually Irish Americans
because they had a lot of stuff on Ellis Island and the Irish in New York in
it. One picture they showed of traffic
in 1920’s New York City and I leaned over to David and said, “It reminds me of
traffic in China.”
The Rhythm of the Dance dancers. The guy with the drum looked like he could be a cousin to my Son-In-Law, CJ! |
The Shandong Special Events Center. It is pretty new, nice and modern. (Translation: western style toilets!) |
We are home kind of late for how early we
need to be up to get our flight for Shanghai in the morning, but we can sleep
on the plane… maybe.
