Day 129 – Back to Ji’nan

After breakfast, we packed our things and checked out.  We waited in the lobby for the rest of our group and Peter.  Pretty soon, our driver sticks his head in the door and motions for us to come.  I guess Peter hadn’t planned to go to the airport with us.  We went to the airport at the same time even though some of the flights didn’t leave until 2:45 p.m.  We checked in and the found a good place to wait.  Had fun talking with those that were waiting with us.  The flight home was okay.

We bought tickets for the bus that would take us back to the city and got off when it stopped by DaMing Lake.  Then we had to get a taxi.  One guy looked like he was going to stop for us and we started to put our stuff in and all a sudden, he drives off!  What was that about?

We crossed the street and we were able to get a taxi from there.  He sure seemed like a nice guy and would like to have talked with us, but there is a language barrier that both of our limited vocabularies prevented much of that.

We are home now and catching up on email and Facebook and the blog.
