Day 261 – Rats Destroy the Internet

My classes went well today.  It was a little hectic getting the parts assigned for the first class to do the readers theaters, but we got it done.  I learn a lot each day about how to do it better and easier, so by Friday, I have it down perfect…

David mopped the floors and went to the baking store to get more wheat flour.  He was a busy man this morning.

After lunch, we both took naps.  Mrs. Chen came with a repairman and they got the new hose put on the washer so that it doesn’t leak anymore.  The internet wasn’t working to check email or anything, so we tried to do other things.  We kept thinking that it would come back on, but it never did.  We finally contacted the international office and they sent a guy to come look at it.  They want to make sure that it isn’t our router or our computers.  Since it wasn’t either of those, he decided that rats must have gotten to the wires and caused the problem.  Rats!  It is too late tonight to get the repairman here, so we will have to wait until the morning.  RATS!!!

We decided to get out of the apartment for dinner and made our way to Pizza Hut.  I was able to find a wireless signal on David’s iPhone to check my g-mail account, but when David tried to check his, there was no more signal.  Oh, well… RATS!

Since we didn’t have internet to entertain us (or be able to do our school work), we decided to watch a movie.  The Hobbit just happened to be in the apartment, so that is what we saw.
